Service and Engagement

Want to give back to your community? Any student interested in performing community service should visit the Volunteer Center in the Student Center. Monthly service projects and special events will be sponsored by the Volunteer Center. There are opportunities for one time and long term engagements with various organizations in Bay, Midland, and Saginaw counties.

Have you been logging your volunteer hours on Org Sync?

If not, you need to start NOW! To log hours, please go to www.svsu.orgsync.com and sign in using your SVSU id and password. If this your first time on Org Sync, you will have to answer a few questions to set up your profile. Once that has been completed, click on the Volunteer Center icon under Organizations. Go to events on the left side of the screen, and click timesheets. Enter the required information and click add at the bottom of the screen.

Complete these steps every time you volunteer and you will create a record of your volunteer hours.
